Staying true to its strategy of constant technical updating, the Thermojet participated this year, several events of a scientific nature and technology in Brazil and abroad. Also noteworthy is the work "Design of Heat-up Procedures for Furnaces Using Numerical Simulations, " presented at the 10th. International Seminar on Furnace Design - Operation and Process Simulation ", in the town of Velké Karlovice, Czech Republic (16 to June 18, 2009).

Moreover, as technology-based company we are, we believe it essential to actively participate in the training of skilled engineering. With this objective, and to foster a continuing discussion about the knowledge related to drying and heating of industrial units, we present the work of the Panel of Refractories 53. Brazilian Ceramic Congress (Brazilian Association of Ceramic - Guaruja, 7 to 10 June 2009), and 4. Seminary Mount Refractory Coating and Thermal Insulation (Reframax - Belo Horizonte, June 2, 2009). At both events, we were sanctioned by an audience composed mainly of students and teachers of undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Engineering, and we spread our vision of combining engineering services with technological innovation.
